Basic room block out

The first process that I had to make was the simple floor tile, whilst using the levels parameters of 1000 x 1000, I created a simple box that would act as both the floor tile and the ceiling tile. Next,  I created separate material IDs; 1 and 4. main room, 2 and 5 closet, 3 and 6 bathroom.

Front window

This is the front window section 1000 (Length) x 400 (Height) x 20 (Dimensions), the doorway is 200 cm in height to accommodate for the average human height, the window is 30 cm.

 Dual doorway
I utilised the front portions of the rooms design and adjusted accordingly to fit the demand for the door frames for the bathroom and the closet, including the use of multiple material IDs as you can see blue marks the closet and pink marks the bathroom

Other wall pieces

The final wall piece that were crucial to keeping a realistic appearance, Firstly the main room/ bathroom/ closet was essential for closing the room, making them easily rotatable for building the level in Unreal, with 2 Material IDs for adding the desired material for either room. The final wall piece to be created is for dividing the bathroom and closet areas.

Overall, throughout the early process of the build, utilised 3DS max to create simplistic building block to get a feel for the levels design; using applications like material IDs, connect to add lines onto model to the attribute the areas for certain textures.
