Floor Texture
Carpet The next process was find a texture that created an tradition atmosphere to the level, I tried to use a woollen texture, unfortunately the lighting and the normal maps did not look professional, then I discover this design a simple black with plastic tips; this appealed to me because the plastic tips on the design would be perfect for utilising the light, making the light map more brighter on the design to make the light catch more. Bathroom The floor texture initially was the basic map inputs e.g. base colour, specular, and normal, but I experimented with multiplying the texture with a grime floor texture on the base texture and the specular, so that when the light hits the tiles; it give a fantastic effect. Closet I wanted to make the floors on the bathroom and the closet tiled, so therefore I inverted the colours on the bathroom to give a grime texture on white tiles. I feel that overall I have the texture that I have created have been success
